Over 300 million people in regions such as Iran, Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, and Central Asia celebrate it. Since 2010, the festival has been recognized as intangible cultural heritage.

On March 27, the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan celebrated the Nauryz festival. In his festive speech, the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan, H.E. Nurlan Onzhanov, spoke about the historical and international significance of Nauryz. He emphasized that Nauryz values such as respect, intercultural dialogue, and cooperation between peoples are important.
