Morocco’s National Day

In her address, the Ambassador praised the successful development of bilateral cooperation. Germany and Morocco have enjoyed close political, economic and cultural ties for decades. Economically, Germany is one of Morocco’s most important trading partners within the European Union. German companies invest primarily in the automotive supply industry, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and the expansion of renewable energy. Morocco is becoming increasingly important as a production hub and a bridge between Europe and Africa. Germany also supports reform and development projects, as well as vocational training in Morocco. German-Moroccan relations are regarded as multifaceted and forward-looking, and offer great potential for further deepening cooperation.
Guests from the worlds of diplomacy, politics, business, culture and society used the evening to engage in conversation and strengthen existing ties. The residence provided an atmospheric setting for intercultural exchange and served as a visible symbol of the friendship between Morocco and Germany. A varied buffet featuring Moroccan specialities, along with musical performances, conveyed a vivid impression of Morocco’s rich culture and hospitality.
Numerous guests from the worlds of diplomacy, politics, business, culture and society accepted the invitation, thereby underlining the close ties between Morocco and Germany.
