Bye bye, my Dear
Farewell to the South African Ambassador
He bid farewell to his African colleagues on 2 December in the library of the Waldorf Astoria. The doyen of the African ambassadors, H.E. Igor Cesar, found the right words to thank him for his service during the past years of his final posting. He will return to South Africa with his German wife and their young twins. These have been eventful years, and not only his colleagues but also the entire team at Diplomatic Magazine wish him all the very best. On this occasion, the new Vice-Doyenne was also introduced: H.E. Youngor Telewoda, Ambassador of Liberia. The Ambassador expressed his thanks in his incredibly genuine manner and with his infectious laugh. Goodbye and all the best.
The Dean of African Ambassadors, H.E. Igor Cesar and H.E. Phumelele Stone Sizani
The Ambassador of Kenya, H.E. Stella Mokaya Orina, and the new Vice-Doyenne, H.E. Youngor Telewoda, Ambassador of Liberia
The Ambassadors of Burundi, Mali, Gabon, Congo, Zimbabwe, Kenya and Sudan
Everyone came to wish the outgoing South African Ambassador all the best
