As the Ambassador was in Dresden to cheer on the Slovenian women’s football team against Germany, the welcome address to the large gathering of guests was delivered by Ms Dubravka Kalin, Director-General at the Ministry of Economic Development, Tourism and Sport of the Republic of Slovenia. As always, events organised by and featuring Slovenia bring a great deal of joie de vivre and energy. Once again, the evening was a testament to the country’s relaxed and warm hospitality. No sooner had the Slovenian band ‘Fehtarji’ started playing than the dance floor filled up immediately, and all around one could see nothing but smiling, happy faces. A successful evening amidst the hectic days of the ITB trade fair.
