Egypt’s National Day
The Embassy of Egypt
Numerous representatives from the diplomatic, political, business and cultural spheres attended the event, thereby underlining the close ties between the two countries. In his address, the Ambassador recalled the historical significance of the national holiday, which marks the beginning of a new chapter in Egypt’s history. At the same time, he highlighted the dynamic development of German-Egyptian economic relations. Germany is one of Egypt’s most important European trading partners. Companies from both countries work closely together, particularly in the fields of energy, hydrogen, infrastructure, mobility and industry. The reception provided an excellent setting for meetings and discussions and made it clear that the partnership between Germany and Egypt is built on a broad foundation of shared interests and forward-looking cooperation. In glorious summer weather, the guests enjoyed the garden and, as always, the sumptuous dishes of Arabic cuisine.
