On November 26, the Ambassador of Bahrain, H.E. Ahmed Ebrahim Al Qarainees, and the Minister of Sustainable Development, H.E. Noor bint Ali Alkhulaif, hosted celebrations for the Kingdom of Bahrain at the Intercontinental Hotel.

Bahrain is an Islamic island nation with a population of approximately 1.5 million and a capital city of Manama. In his speech, the ambassador highlighted Bahrain's close ties to the Gulf states and the US and emphasized its membership in international bodies such as the United Nations and the Arab League. Bahrain is also valued as a flexible and serious discussion partner, especially when it comes to disagreements on regional issues. The economic foundation in Bahrain is oil and natural gas production. In recent years, the importance of aluminum has also increased. Through diversification, it has also developed into the most important financial services provider in the Middle East. Bahrain plays a role in tourism within the Arab world, but international tourism has so far failed to materialize. In foreign policy, Bahrain focuses on dialogue and cooperation, particularly in the financial and energy sectors. However, renewable energies are also playing an increasingly important role, as natural resources are limited. Following the speech by the ambassador, who was accredited in Germany just a few weeks ago, guests were treated to Arabic delicacies.
