Young Ambassadors for the German-Baltic Future Foundation
Brand-Ambassador-Program
In August 2025, the foundation, launched under the leadership of Jost Wiethölter the Brand Ambassador Program. Twenty-two ambassadors between the ages of 16 and 30 will spend one year promoting the foundation’s mission within their respective fields of activity. How they do so is left to the discretion of each individual ambassador. The foundation provides support as needed in the form of expertise, networks, platforms, and, where appropriate, financial assistance.
The Participants
In addition to Germany and the Baltic states as the core regions of the program, participants come from nine other countries: Ukraine, Bosnia, Finland, the United States, Spain, Georgia, Russia, Ghana, and Bulgaria. Their academic and professional backgrounds range from international relations, political science, journalism, and law to IT and physics, as well as fine arts, economics, and management.

TH Augsburg and Estonia
The young student Rebecca Neumeier is one of the participants in the Brand Ambassador Program. She studies Rescue Engineering at Augsburg University of Applied Sciences. In her role as an ambassador for the foundation, she has launched a very practical initiative: She connected the degree program at Augsburg University of Applied Sciences with the Estonian Rescue Board to enable cross-border learning and the exchange of knowledge in civil protection and disaster management. This is particularly important because safety requirements and strategies still differ significantly across Europe.
