State Secretary Jochen Schulze opened the event, which mainly focused on beer brewed in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. By now, some brands have managed to gain recognition beyond the state’s borders, but of the more than 30 breweries, only 7 presented themselves. Well-known and quite unusual varieties of beer were offered for tasting. As a great addition, there was spit-roasted pork and all kinds of delicious side dishes.
